The 404 page is an often overlooked page on your website that doesn’t get a lot of attention.
However, it might be getting a lot of traffic (check your analytics and you might be surprised how much traffic your error page gets!)
Instead of the plain ol’: “Oops, you got the wrong page!” message, you might try using the 404 page to get visitors to sign up for your demo, free report or your monthly Tips and Tricks.
You can try something like this:
“Oops, looks like the page you’re looking for isn’t hear anymore.
While you’re here, would you like to get the latest tips and tricks for using video to grow your business?
Sign up here:”
You can also try adding links to popular content or any action you want your user to take.
